Whether by active decision or lack of awareness, candidates and employees who do not negotiate pay and benefits receive the disadvantage of lower pay that forever will impact their career. Negotiation is part of the established pay-determination process so employers can pay only the amount needed to get a candidate to accept the offer and not a penny more.

Employers start the negotiation process in the job posting. Even with the growth in laws regarding pay transparency, most jobs postings do not include a minimum salary or a salary range. Employers want you to name your desired salary and salary history first and take your responses into consideration when deciding on your salary offer. You need to know how to counter this and many other tactics used to ensure the employer pays only the amount needed for you to accept the job offer and not a penny more. You will be able to negotiate the fair market price of the job with an EPN consultation.

Select the consultation package that meets your needs and situation.
