Negotiating may be an essential part of hiring, promotion, and the compensation process but it is very different for women and men.  In negotiating compensation, women often face historical

limits and often face inaccurate information, even being viewed negatively for advocating in the same manner as their male counterparts.  How should a women successfully navigate this “damned if you do” and/or damned if you don’t” minefield?
